Windsurfing: L, Sussex Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: F4-5 Surf / Sea State: Nice waves Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered:
Got down as the rising tide was starting to tickle around the bottom of the
groynes. Means the waves will clean up and the kiters will start to
disappear. Stuck up a big sail as it looked a bit fluky and sure enough the
size was needed. The session went like this: coax it on the plane and head
out the back, squeezing upwind. gybe on a wave and head for shore, bear off
in the shallows and ride the wave down the line. Had few cracking little
numbers, no power in the sail, but enough steepness to work it a bit. More
like surfing I guess.
